Just a friendly reminder that a new film will be showing as part of the LCCC Stocker Arts Center Film Series tonight and October 5. The film series, held in the Hoke Theatre, features the finest art, independent, classic and foreign films.

Lives Well Lived and My Afternoons With Margueritte (double feature)

A double feature of Lives Well Lived showcasing 40 adults from 75 to 100 years old who are living their lives to the fullest and My Afternoons with Margueritte where afternoons spent reading aloud on their favorite bench transform two lives and start them both on a new journey.

The story of the Nazi occupation as seen through the eyes of two young Jewish boys. Joseph and Maurice are 10 and 12, and have no real understanding of the persecution of Jews. These tenacious urchins survive on courage, ingenuity and more than a bit of cunning as they make their way through France hoping to reunite with their family.

Hours are Monday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m. The box office is also open 90 minutes before ticketed events (60 minutes before Student Matinees).
