[NEohioPAL] Akron Symphony to hold vocal auditions for holiday concerts

The Akron Symphony Orchestra will hold auditions for a vocalist to perform at the annual Home for the Holidays concerts in December.

The auditions are open to anyone under the age of 18 who would like to perform the song Night of Silence with the Orchestra at our concert on December 7 in Akron and December 8 in Medina. The song can be performed by either a soloist or by a duet.

Auditions will be held:


*        November 13 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Medina High School's Middle Stage, which is located at 777 East Union in Medina.

*        November 14 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Akron, which is located at 263 East Mill Street.
Interested candidates must submit an application online at https://tinyurl.com/ybxkkv72. The Symphony will provide applicants with the appropriate music, at no charge, prior to the audition.
