Beck Center in Lakewood is pleased to announce auditions for William
Shakespeare's *KING LEAR*. Open Call auditions {*by Appointment*} will be
held on *Sunday, Nov.* *4th* (Beginning at 2PM) and *Monday Nov. 5th*
(beginning at 6PM) Director Eric Schmeidl seeks a cast of 10 to 14 to fill
all roles. It is anticipated that Two AEA contracts will be available. All
actors 18 and over receive a stipend for their participation. Callbacks
will occur ideally on Sunday, Nov. 11th.

Confident.  Smart. Decisive.

King Lear’s first daughter.

ALBANY: Male.  40’s – 60’s.  Any cultural background.

Aristocratic.  Privileged. Content.

Goneril’s husband and Duke of Albany.

OSWALD: Male.  20’s – 60’s.  Any cultural background.

Detailed.  Loyal. Arrogant.

Goneril’s personal secretary.

REGAN: Female.  40’s – 60’s.  Any cultural background.

Passionate.  Vindictive. Ruthless.
