The Illusion Factory is pleased to announce their 2018- 2019 Touring season!


This year we truly have something for everyone! November begins with a revival the Holiday Classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (November 19th 2018- January 1st 2019) followed by our very own world premier version of the classic children’s tale “Aesop’s Animals (January  14th 2019-June 15th 2019).
Just in time for black history month don’t miss “Sojourner Speaks”, a one women show  and historical performance piece about the legend herself! (February 4th- June 19th)

Show summaries are as follows:
 Aesop’s Animals:
You've probably heard of the classic "The Tortoise and the Hare." Now Aesop's most famous pair are back to introduce you to some of their fabled friends! Meet a lion who needs some unexpected help from a mouse e, a clever fox who tricks a vain crow out of a treat, and a hard-working ant who shares his surplus with a lazy grasshopper, just to name a few. With age-old lessons that are just as important to learn today, "Aesop’s Animals" will teach young hearts what it means to share, to ask for help, and to be a friend. (For Preschool- 5th grade)
 
Sojourner Speaks:
The legend comes to life in this one women show about the life and times of Sojourner Truth! You don’t want to miss this special theatrical event!
(3rd Grade and up)
Dr. Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas:

Enjoy a staged reading of this classic tale about the true meaning of Christmas told with pizzazz and style! Perfect for you annual holiday party, or school gathering. (All Ages)
