[NEohioPAL] (2) READERS NEEDED to play mother and son in a staged reading this week at Playwrights Local

Hello! A showcase of short staged readings takes place this Thursday, 7 to
9pm at Playwrights Local (397 East 156th Street, Cleveland, OH 44110).

This is a free, unpaid, casual event -- *a potluck meal will be provided
beforehand!*

Actors will need to be there by 6:30pm but are free to leave after this
specific reading (or stay and watch the rest till 9). You will be provided
with a chair and a script to keep in-hand while performing on a bare stage.

"Facing Away From The Sun" *is a short one-act that concerns the struggling
relationship dynamics between a mother and son on the eve of a major
departure. The role descriptions are as follows:*

*LUCAS, male, 20s-30s, sensitive, quiet determination, needs more sun*

*VIVIAN, female, 40s-60s, prone to gab, poetic but dry, temperament of a
briar*
