[NEohioPAL] Auditions! Susan Glaspell's "Suppressed Desires"

Bay Village Community Theater will hold auditions for a staged reading of Susan Glaspell's one-act, "Suppressed Desires" Tuesday, January 8 from 7-8:30 pm at St.Barnabas Episcopal Church, 468 Bradley Road, Bay Village. Director John Hnat is looking for two females and one male for the reading. The readings (two-three performances) will take place the third weekend of February (15-17).
"Suppressed Desires," written in 1914, is a highly amusing travesty about misapplied psychology. Henrietta's obsession with psychoanalysis leads to a completely off-the-wall interpretation of a dream and very nearly to divorce before the absurdity of the situation is realized.
