Join us again for Third Thursdays with the ISA in Cleveland! Come meet other
local filmmakers and have a chance to win a door prize! Join us for this fun
evening of socializing, and let's build a community of screenwriters!  This
event is free and open to all. Producers, directors, actors and all other
members of the film and television community are encouraged to attend.

Featured Guest:  Joann Hess, award winning screenwriter and ISA Connect
member.

JoAnn Hess is a multi-award winning, optioned screenwriter who who writes
dramas and thrillers that involve consequential stakes, complex characters
and powerful secrets. Her stories revolve around the
socially-disenfranchised, those whom society has forgotten, who struggle to
find a place in the world. Her work is highly demanded by producers and has
written several scripts on paid-assignment in Crime Drama, Thriller and
Action/Thriller genres.

JoAnn was named one of ScreenwritingU's, "Most Recommended Writers of 2014."

JoAnn's scripts have placed in numerous, prestigious award competitions
including PAGE Awards (2017 FINALIST; 2016 Semi/Quarterfinalist; 2014
Quarterfinalist), Final Draft's BIG BREAK (2016 Semi/Quarterfinalist), New
Hope Film Festival 2014 WINNER, Cleveland International IndieGathering Film
Festival: 2016 Best Feature Script, 1st Place Dramatic/Comedy; 2014 1st
Place: Action/Thriller Script, and more.

Along with FRAMER, The Devil's Dandruff (JC Pictures, LLC) is set to film
with Peter Field (World War Z, Edge of Tomorrow) directing. Fakers (JC
Pictures, LLC) has Tom Delmar (SNATCH) attached to direct. She has produced
two short films, DEBRIS (2015) and the multi-award winning, OUR FATHER
(2014), starring Michael Gross.
