Cleveland Play House, America’s first regional theatre andrecipient of the 2015 Regional Theatre Tony Award, is accepting applicationsfor a Properties Carpenter.  The Props team consists of the PropertiesManager, Assistant Properties Manager, Properties Carpenter, Properties Artisanand Apprentice. Applicants should have 2-4 years of professional experience,preferably in regional theatre. Detailed knowledge of advanced woodworking, metalworking and welding required. Working knowledge of mechanics, rigging, andCAD a plus.  

Must be able to plan projects and work independently, have goodorganizational and communication skills.  PropsCarpenter is primarily responsible for construction, restoration ormodification of furniture, set dressing and hand props built of wood, steel orother materials and assists with the load in and strike of all productions.   Validdriver’s license, able to work at heights and to lift up to 75 lbs.  Position is Full-time.  Position available to May 12, 2019.
