[NEohioPAL] Auditions for "Seussical" set at ABOB!

Arlene’s Broadway on Buffalo announces auditions for “Seussical The Musical” have been scheduled Sunday, March 10 through Tuesday, March 12 from 6-8 p.m. each date. No appointments are necessary and casting is open to people of all ages. Nothing has been precast…all roles are available.
Performance dates are June 7-9, 14-16 and 21-23. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday shows will be at 2:30 p.m. ABOB is located at 236 Buffalo Street in Conneaut.
People seeking to audition are asked to come prepared to sing a song (with either sheet music or internet/karaoke music) and be ready to read from the script. A movement assessment may also be part of the audition. Please bring a list of potential rehearsal conflicts as well.

“Seussical” is based on an amalgamation of Dr. Seuss books and tells the story of Horton the Elephant and his efforts to save the Whos, whose world is located on a small clover blossom. The show is brimming with great music, including “Solla Sollew,” “Oh The Thinks You Can Think,” “It’s Possible” and “The One-Feathered Tail of Miss Gertrude McFuzz.” Named characters include The Cat In The Hat, Jo-Jo, Horton, Gertude McFuzz, Mayzie Labird, the Sour Kangaroo, The Mayor of Who and his wife, Yurtle the Turtle, General Ghengis Khan Schmitz, The Wickersham Brothers and the Bird Girls. There are lots of ensemble opportunities for Whos and assorted jungle creatures.
