LCCC Stocker Arts Center Presents Helen Welch: Songwriters Hall of Fame

Lorain County Community College's Stocker Arts Center presents Helen Welch in "Songwriters Hall of Fame" as part of the Studio Sessions at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 22 and 23 in the Cirigliano Studio Theatre.

Welch shines the spotlight on the accomplishments of songwriters including such luminaries as Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Billy Joel, James Taylor, Carole King, Bill Withers, Jimmy Webb, Paul Simon and many more. The internationally acclaimed vocalist, entertainer and producer brings her incredible team of musicians to Stocker Arts Center to honor those songwriters whose work represents a spectrum of the most beloved songs from the worlds' popular music songbook. With their own unique style of pop, blues and jazz the much loved quartet will celebrate the legacy and work of some of the great songwriters who made their mark in the '50s, '60s, '70s and '80s.

Tickets for Studio Session events are $20 each or $10 for LCCC students with a valid ID, youth 18 and under, and active duty military with valid ID. Subscriptions are also available for this series.
