Through humble beginnings in the basement of the Every Blooming Thing flower shop in Highland Square in 2014, the #EPCooker is an artist driven event that sees over 50+ audience members, 15+ performers, and 4 non-stop hours of art.  Anyone can sign up for a performance slot, as the event features musicians, theatre artists, improvisers, comedians, dancers, and much more.

Avast, me hearties! Join Wandering Aesthetics and Emcee Sarah Yeager for a tidal wave-size addition of the Electric Pressure Cooker Cabaret 44: Dead Man’s Chest. Dead men may tell no tales, but live ones are full of ‘em. Make your way to our “ship’s deck” on Saturday, April 6th and bear witness to Akron’s treasure chest of artistic talent - of all ages and genres.

The #EPCooker is a regularly occurring open mic that takes place on the FIRST SATURDAY of every month at The Center.
