FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Additional auditions for "Forever Plaid" at Rabbit
Run Theater

 

(MADISON, OH)  An additional audition date for Rabbit Run Theater's
production of "Forever Plaid" is scheduled for Thursday, April 18. 

 

"Forever Plaid" a musical originally written, directed and choreographed by
Stuart Ross, runs from May 31 through June 15.  The production is directed
by Ann Hedger.  Musical direction is by Danielle Jones and choreography is
by Hannah Green.  There are four roles available for men, ages 18 to 35.

                                     

Four young men, Sparky, Smudge, Jinx and Frankie share a love for music.
Rehearsing in the basement of Smudge's family's plumbing supply company,
they become "Forever Plaid".  This musical revue is chock-full of nostalgic
1950's hits performed with classic barbershop quartet harmonies.

 

The additional audition is Thursday, Apr. 18, at 6:30 p.m. at the RRCAA fine
arts building, 49 Park St., Madison.

            

Actors auditioning should prepare to sing 16 measures of a Broadway-style
song from memory. Please bring sheet music for the accompanist in a binder.
No pre-recorded accompaniment or CD tracks. No monologue need be prepared as
actors will read sides from the script.  Actors should dress for movement
(jeans are acceptable, no sweatpants).

Rabbit Run Theater is one of the few barn theaters remaining in Ohio and is
open every summer from the beginning of June through the end of August.  The
theater is located at 5648 W. Chapel Rd., Madison.  

 

RRCAA is a comprehensive fine arts association offering year-round
instruction in all the major disciplines of the fine and performing arts and
also operates Rabbit Run Theater.  Partial funding is provided by the Ohio
Arts Council, Dworken and Bernstein, Hearn Plumbing and Heating,
Huffman-Mayer Wealth Management Group, Lighthouse Advisers, and Remarkable
