Every great story begins in a basement…
Through humble beginnings in the basement of the Every Blooming Thing flower shop in Highland Square, the Electric Pressure Cooker is an artist driven event that sees over 50+ audience members, 15+ performers, and 4 non-stop hours of art.  Anyone can sign up for a performance slot, as the event features musicians, theatre artists, improvisers, comedians, dancers, and much more.

May the Fourth be with you! Join Wandering Aesthetics and Emcee Madison Jeannette as we awaken the arts throughout the latest and greatest Electric Pressure Cooker Cabaret. Witness firsthand the artists– of all ages and genres– that help make Akron the #CreativeSummit.

The #EPCooker is a regularly occurring open mic that takes place on the FIRST SATURDAY of every month at The Center.
