East Cleveland Theater is hosting auditions for “The Old Setter”, written
by John Henry Redwood.



*Director: Coralyce Carten*



*Synopsis:*

“The Old Settler” revolves around Elizabeth, an older woman, who finds both
excitement and trouble when her younger sister and an unrelated young man
move in.  The play takes place in the 1940s.



*Available Roles:*

(Ages listed are somewhat flexible.)



*Husband Witherspoon**: *Black man, late 20s or 40s

>From South Carolina, Husband is in NYC to retrieve his girlfriend and take
her back home.  He is relatively naïve about life.



*Audition Dates:*

*Auditions are by appointment only.*

Shows on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 9 shows total

Opening: Friday, June 07, 2019

Closing: Sunday, June 23, 2019

Friday and Saturday shows start at 8pm

Sunday shows start at 3pm



*Rehearsals:*

We have already started rehearsals for this production.  Rehearsals are
Sundays thru Thursdays, from 6:30 to 9:30pm.  If you are concerned about
dates and time frames, please contact us and tell us your limitations.
