[NEohioPAL] VOLUNTEER CREW MEMBERS NEEDED

Near West Theatre is in need of crew members for our run of CHESS! Crew members help backstage with scene changes, spotlights, makeup, sound, costumes, and lights.

Fine Print:

·         Must be 13 years or older.

·         Crew members are expected to work within the Guidelines & Policies of NWT and communicate any conflicts with the calendar (email Ryan at rwolf at nearwesttheatre.org<mailto:rwolf at nearwesttheatre.org> for calendar)

·         There is a need for 20 crew members for this show: stage, props, makeup, sound, costume and lights.

·         Rehearsals for all crew members begin on Sunday, July 7th from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm - this rehearsal will start with a crew meeting for the first half hour.

·         A dry tech rehearsal for crew is Saturday, July 13th from 11am to 4pm. More details to come.

·         Tech Week starts with Marathon Sunday on July 14th and includes the following Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. ALL crews are expected at Tech rehearsals.

·         All crews are expected to attend all performances - the show opens Friday, July 14th and runs to Sunday, August 4th

-          The call for crew is 5:30pm for Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances and 1:00 pm for the Sunday performances. There will be crew assignments after the show and everyone is expected to stay to complete these assignments. However, no one will have to stay more than a ½ hour after the performance.

·         On closing night, Near West Theatre will host a cast, crew and band party. The details will be announced. There will also be a strike of the set which will need the help of everyone on that day.

·         This is a volunteer position.
