AUDTION NOTICE: Puppeteer Auditions for CREATURES by Roger Titley

 

Seeking 20 movement-based performers for paid work! 

Must be 20 years or older

 

Be part of a large puppet procession in downtown Cleveland on Saturday, July
27th.

 

In partnership with Cleveland Public Library's 150th Anniversary street
party, this is a rare

opportunity to work with a master puppeteer from South Africa, in his first
American

appearance. Roger's puppets opened the Rio Olympics and FIFA World Cup,
danced with the

Moscow Ballet, and have been in ads for Coke, Volkswagon, and Microsoft.

 

Learn how to operate exquisite, life-sized animal puppets, from cheetahs to
giraffes. 

20 puppeteers will be selected for a procession down Superior Ave. to Public
Square.

Free Group Workshop/Auditions will be held at Ingenuity on:

Monday, July 15 from 9am - 1pm 

OR

Tuesday, July 16 from 9am - 1pm

 

Performers must be present for the full audition/workshop.

PERFORMANCE Saturday, July 27th at 2:45pm

You must be available for rehearsals between July 17-27 

(Schedule will be based on availability; daytime availability a plus.) 

 

Puppeteers selected to participate in the procession will be paid.
