POSITION OPENING: 
COLORGUARD COACH 
PART TIME-STIPEND POSITION 
The Walsh Jesuit High School Music Department is seeking A Colorguard Coach for 2019-20. This would be a part-time Stipend position. Duties would include the following: 
• Running a weekly colorguard section rehearsal for the Warrior Corps Marching Band starting in July and concluding at the end of October. 
• Writing flag/dance routines for performances. 
• Coaching the Summer Band Camp Colorguard July 27-August 5 from 9am-3pm. 
• Running a Colorguard Section Rehearsal 1:15-2:00pm twice a week and after school once a week. 
• Attendance at Football games to prep colorguard, assist the Directors and the weekly Wednesday evening rehearsal from 6pm-8pm. 
• Assistance with 3 parades. 
• Possible Winter Colorguard Opportunity if interested. 

Qualifications: 
Experience with Marching Band and Colorguard/Dance Techniques 
High School Diploma 
College/University Degree Preferred 
Virtus Training Required upon acceptance
