*Ken Ludwig's A Comedy of Tenors*

*Dates:*   Sat., July 20 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm and Sun., July 21 from 6:00
to 9:00 pm

*Production Dates: *Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at
2 pm, Sept. 13 - Oct. 6, 2019

*Place: *Paris - 1936 - "The 3 Tenors Concert"
*Plot:  *1 elegant hotel suite, 4 tenors, 3 girlfriends, 2 babies and a
stadium full of screaming soccer fans. What could possibly go wrong?

*Roles Still Available: *3 men
*Tito/Beppo: *(played by same actor)
*Tito* - 50’s. Tenor. Famous Italian opera singer big ego in a mid-life
crisis. Accent strong broken Italian.
*Beppo *- 50’s. Tenor. A likable man of simple origins. Accent heavy
Italian.

*Carlos* - Mid 20’s. Tenor Rising young opera star threat to Tito. In love
with his daughter. Accent American.

*Max* - 30’s. Tenor. Assistant to Producer. Married child on way. A calming
influence. Accent American.

**Please note: *the characters Max, Tito, Carlo (tenor) will be required to
sing 16 measures of a classical piece.  A pianist will be available, please
bring appropriate music.

Auditions will be cold readings from the script.  Auditions will be held at
Clague Playhouse, 1371 Clague Road, Westlake.
