THE PLAYS/CHARACTERS:

AN INTERVIEW
by David Mamet
An oblique, mystifying interrogation. A sleazy lawyer is forced to answer
difficult questions and to admit the truth about his life and career. The
why and where of the interrogation provide a surprise ending to this
brilliant comedy.

Attorney - (M) 30s-50s - Sleazy lawyer, who believes he can talk his way
out of anything.
Attendant - (M/F) Any Age - Mysterious, stone-faced attendant.

HOTLINE
by Elaine May
A neurotic woman with enough urban angst to fill a neighborhood calls a
suicide crisis hotline late one night. The counselor who gets the call is
overwhelmed - it is his first night on the job.

Dorothy - (F) 20s-40s - A prositute who's both neurotic & rough around the
edges who is at the end of her rope.
Ken - (M) 20s-30s - Nice guy with a heart of gold, nervous about his 1st
day working at the suicide hotline.
Dr Russell - (M/F) 30s-50s - well-meaning, but oblivious. Thinks all
problems can be solved with a motivational speech.
Marty - (M) 30s-40s - Ken's co-worker, easy-going, kind of a goof off.
Delivery Boy - (M/F) Any Age.

CENTRAL PARK WEST
by Woody Allen
A well to do psychiatrist has just discovered that her best friend is
having an affair with her husband in Woody Allen's wildly comic Central
Park West. She has invited the friend over for a confrontation after
getting thoroughly soused. Meanwhile, the husband is about to run off with
a college student.

Phyllis - (F) late 30s-40s - Domineering and Snarky psychiatrist, recently
discovered her husband is cheating with her best friend
Carol - (F) late 30s - Secretly in love with Phyllis husband Sam, has
identity issues, emulates anyone she would rather be.
Howard - (M) 40s-50s - Carol's milk-toast and manic -depressive husband.
Sam - (M) 40s-50s - Handsome ex-jock type, needs to be in a committed
relationship for validation.
Juliet - (F) 20s - Young college student with anxiety, one of Phyllis'
patients.

We are looking for a diverse cast of 6-8 actors/actresses. We do plan to
double cast roles, so if you are cast you will more than likely be offered
roles in multiple pieces. If you have questions or aren't able to attend
auditions, but would still like to you can contact us at
