[NEohioPAL] National Monologue Competition

The 24th Indie Gathering International Film Festival is taking place August 8-11 just outside of Cleveland, and for actors wanting to compete in the national monologue competition, there is still time to pre-register. Discounted early registration ends August 1st. After August 1st, actors can register at the door at the full rate.

Competing includes a Friday-Sunday festival pass to all events. (Thursday-Sunday pass option also available). Mix and mingle with directors and producers from around the world!

Prizes include trophies and a Grand Champion Belt for overall winner. The preliminary round of the competition will be held Saturday the 10th at 10:30 am. Finals will be 11 AM Sunday. Your audience will be comprised of producers, directors, writers, and more industry professionals. Bring your head shots, resumes, and plenty of business cards for networking! All events are held at the Mentor Holiday Inn.

Categories: 10 and under / 11 - 17 / 18 - 39 female / 18-39 male / 40+ female / 40+ male

1st place winners from each category move on to finals on Sunday.

You can perform any monologue of your choice, provided it is under 2 minutes. Performances running over the 2 minute limit will receive a point deduction from their score.
