[NEohioPAL] North Canton Playhouse is holding auditions for its production of “Diary of Anne Frank”

[North Canton Playhouse]

When: Tuesday, July 23 at 7:30 PM.


Where: South Main St. Theatre location at: 1210 S. Main St. North Canton, 44720

Preparation: Those auditioning do not need anything prepared, we will do staged (cold) readings from the script.

Note: If you are interested in auditioning, but unable to attend on 7/23, please email director, Ted Paynter, at twpaynter at gmail.com.

Roles needed:

Two females ages 12-18 for parts of Anne Frank and Margot Frank

One female age 18-30 for part of Miep Gies

Two females in 35-50 for Mrs. Frank and Mrs. Van Daan

One male ages 14-20 for Peter Van Daan

Four males ages 35-55 for Mr. Frank, Mr. Van Daan, Mr. Kraler and Mr. Dussel

Please check the following schedule to be sure you are available, before you audition.

Rehearsal Schedule:

Rehearsals will be three nights a week, beginning the week of July 28th. Most Sundays and two weeknights between Monday-Wednesday each week until tech week.  Tech week will be Sunday, Sept 29 (two tech rehearsals on that Sunday) through Wednesday, October 2.

Performances:

Thursday 10/3 @ 8:00, Friday 10/4 @ 8:00, Saturday 10/5 @ 8:00, Sunday 10/6 @ 2:30

Thursday 10/10 @ 8:00, Friday 10/11 @ 8:00, Saturday 10/12 @ 8:00, Sunday 10/13 @ 2:30
