*John Sablan started his dance journey 12 years ago, shortly after moving
from the island of Saipan to Houston, Texas. What initially started off as
a hobby for John, quickly realized itself into a deep passion for dance
that would lead him to amazing opportunities and equally amazing people.
Since his story's beginning in 2007, John has moved on to being a member of
Soreal Dance Studio where he was trained by former TV stars of MTV's
America's Best Dance Crew: Season 2. Alongside the rest of Soreal, John
competed in and won the World of Dance Houston competitions in 2013 and
2016. John was also nominated by renowned choreographer, Marty Kudelka, as
a semi-finalist for the Monsters of Hip Hop Cast in 2016. Since moving up
to Cleveland from Houston in 2017, John has shifted his focus to teaching
in the community, appearing as a guest choreographer at workshops,
conventions, and auditions in the local area.*
