[NEohioPAL] Marvel Pilot Program Auditions for HS Girls at Saint Ignatius

*Through a special arrangement with** Marvel**, Saint Ignatius is one of a
select handful of high schools across the country* this fall that is going
to be producing three one-act plays based on Marvel characters. These
one-acts are part of the *Marvel Pilot Program.* We are doing three one
acts based on *Spider-Man, Thor & Loki, and Squirrel Girl, respectively.**


*Auditions for all area high school girls will be held Tuesday, August 20,
from 4:00-8:00 in the school's Breen Center (2008 West 30th Street,
Cleveland, Ohio 44113). *Students are asked to prepare a memorized
one-to-two minute contemporary monologue for the audition. Cold readings
will also be part of the process.


*The show will run October 18 and 19 at 7:30 pm, and October 20 at 2:00 pm.*

****Marvel** works with a small group of schools on titles in development
before they are released to the general public. As part of the program, the
Saint Ignatius drama department has been given new scripts and are going to
turn them into a fully realized production. Based on the end result,
Saint Ignatius will provide feedback about our creative experiences with
the material. The school will also be filming one of the performances and
sending it over to Marvel in New York City.*
