Neil Simon’s “Rumors”




 
This farce takes place in a large New York City townhouse where the DeputyMayor has just shot himself on the evening of his tenth wedding anniversaryparty. The victim’s wife is nowhere in sight, and his lawyer tries to convincehis own wife to get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. Confusions and miscommunications mount as the evening spins off into classicfarcical hilarity.
 
The show runs August 23-September 7, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM andSunday, September 1st at 3:00 PM. All shows will be performedat Broadview Heights Theater, 9543 Broadview Road (next to the Police Station).Dan Sekanic is directing the show which features Greg Mandryk, Emily Beck, LisaVan Gaasbeek, Jim Hagan, Assad Khaishgi, Kayleigh Joyce, Matthew Phillips,Casey McCann, Jackie Weiler, and April Needham.
