SYNOPSIS:In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids--probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on! This delightful comedy is adapted from the best-selling Young Adult book, and has become a holiday staple for groups across the United States! Features plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas Carols, and a lot of laughs!

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd and Wednesday, October 23rd from 7-9pm

All auditioners are asked to come prepared to cold read from the script. We also ask that you bring a current headshot and resume with you to auditions. 

Rehearsals will begin on October 27th and generally run Sunday through Thursday evenings. 

Performances: December 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st at 8pm and December 15th at 2pm

Bob Bradley (Male, 30s) - The father, solid family man

Grace Bradley (Female, 30s) - The mother, trim and attractive

Beth Bradley (Female, 10-11) - The narrator, strong voice and presence 

Charlie Bradley (Male, 8-9) - Traditional kid brother

Ralph Herdman (Male, 12-13) - Ragged, scroungy, slouching manner, touch of adolescent cool

Imogene Herdman (Female, 11-12) - loud, bossy, crafty

Leroy Herdman (Male, 10-11) - tough, sure of himself

Claude Herdman (Male, 9-10) - tough, combative

Ollie Herman (Male, 8-9) - looking for trouble, Claude's usual partner in crime

Gladys Herdman (Female, 7-8) - small, wiry, fiesty

Alice Wendleken (Female, 10-11) - Prim, proper, pain in the neck

Mrs. Armstrong (Female, 50s) - largish woman, managerial in voice and manner

Mrs. Slocum (Female, 30s-60s) - pleasant, motherly woman

Mrs. Clark (Female, 30s-60s)

Mrs. Clausing (Female, 30s-60s)

Mrs. McCarthy (Female, mid-40s) - a younger, less imperious version of Mrs. Armstrong
