[NEohioPAL] Painting the Town Open House Reception: November 3, 2019 2-4pm

The Shaker Arts Council (SHAC) is proud to announce the completion of our
latest project *Painting the Town* – the wrapping of utility boxes in the
Shaker Towne Center area.  Three of the boxes are located along Chagrin
Blvd at the intersections of Avalon, Lee and Chelton Roads.  Two others are
on Lee Road at Van Aken and Lomond Boulevards.  A sixth box will be
installed this week in front of Stephanie Tubbs Jones Community Center, on
Lee Road between Van Aken and Chagrin.  To celebrate these works of art, an
open house reception will be held Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Avalon
Station, 16800 Van Aken Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44120 from 2 - 4 pm.  A
map of the location of the boxes ranging from whimsical to the abstract
will be available.  Attendees are invited to meet the artists at the
reception, visit their designs, tour Avalon Station and learn about our
newest initiative – Building Blocks.  The event is free and open to the
