Program Reservationist

Location: French Creek Nature Center

Rate of Pay: $12.17 per hour

Job Description: Performs a variety of clerical and secretarial duties including typing correspondence, and taking reservations. Collecting money, daily revenue balancing, greeting visitors, answering phones, and maintaining files, records and reports. Performs a wide range of program and staff scheduling, along with informational and preparatory support for programming.

Minimum Qualifications: Completion of secondary education; some college work preferred in the field of administrative support, public relations, customer service, data entry, point-of-sale accounting, or equivalent. Minimum of two years work experience in the prior mentioned field. Strong clerical, customer service, reservation-taking, and organizational skills necessary. Experience in collection of money, balancing, scheduling and public service preferred. Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license and undergo background check. Must obtain CPR certification within two months of hire. Lorain County Metro Park District policy prohibits hiring new employees who use tobacco.
