[NEohioPAL] (1) ACTOR NEEDED for Staged Reading at Playwrights Local

Hello! The staged reading of “Godly Boys + Golden Girls” needs an actor (*male,
20s-30s*) for its performance at Playwrights Local (397 East 156th Street,
Cleveland, OH 44110) through their Young Playwrights Collective on
Wednesday, December 18th at 7pm.

Tentative rehearsal schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, the 11th evening
Saturday, the 14th afternoon
Monday, the 16th evening
Tuesday, the 17th evening

The play is a comedy about a 13-year-old boy, adrift after the end of his
favorite sitcom and the main source of connection to his recently deceased
father, avoiding his grief and anxiety by developing an unhealthy habit of
impersonating The Golden Girls, losing himself within these fictional
identities as he’s confronted by figures of authority: his overworked
mother, his well-meaning youth pastor, and his new Bible study partner — a
gay college student.
