INSTRUCTOR OPPORTUNITIES AT CLEVELAND PLAY HOUSE!

Cleveland Play House is currently seeking theatre instructors, music directors, and choreographers for a variety of opportunities in 2020!

CPH Theatre Academy Satellite Locations

Cleveland Play House is branching out! We are opening two satellite locations, one in Westlake and one in Shaker Heights. We are looking for Music Directors for our Musical Theatre classes for students ages 8-11. Music Directors will work with a director/choreographer in the class. Westlake classes will be held in Market Square at Crocker Park, 239 Market St, Westlake, OH 44145. Shaker Heights classes will be held in the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Cleveland Church, 21600 Shaker Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44122.

Dates and times are as follows:

  *   Classes run February 5th-April 8th 2020
  *   Classes are held Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 pm
  *   Instructors will be compensated $25/ hr for their instructional time

Summer Academy


This summer, join Cleveland Play House, America's first regional theatre, for CPH Summer Academy! Students ages 4-18 will have the opportunity to participate in half day, week long, or two-week intensives for a variety of theatre classes throughout the summer.

We are seeking instructors for our course offerings, with disciplines ranging from improvisation, to acting for the camera to musical theatre. Classes are open to students of all abilities and experience levels. Instructors are compensated $25/ hr of instructional time.

Drama Club Instructors

Cleveland Play House is proud to partner with Say Yes to Education! to provide after-school enrichment programming for students in a variety of fields. CPH is seeking instructors to implement performing arts curriculum (provided) to create Drama Clubs for our partner schools. The locations and scheduled times for each school's needs are as follows:
