Flashes of Hope, a charitable organization dedicated to celebrating and supporting pediatric cancer patients while also funding research for a cure, partnered with the Cleveland Cavaliers in October the annual "Big Shots & Little Stars" fundraiser. The theme of the evening was the Adventures of Indiana Jones, and a number of costumes that were made or purchased for the event are available for sale! Perfect for cosplay, ComicCon, the John Williams/Cleveland Orchestra concert on April 26, or next Halloween (it's never too early)!

The costumes include character replica costumes as well as some more generic outfits inspired by the settings of the four films. The female costumes were made to fit teen/adult women, and each measures between 5'5" and 5'11" tall, with waist sizes ranging from 26" - 30" and bust sizes ranging from 34" - 39"; I can provide specific measurements for each costume on inquiry. Sizes are noted for the male costumes. You can see the costumes in action on the Cavs.com video coverage of "Big Shots & Little Stars 2019," or I can provide photos. All of the costumes were worn for a few hours at the event, so they are used -- but you'd never know it, they are in next-to-new condition! We just don't have the room to store them, and would love to see them go to good homes where they will get to be worn. All proceeds go to Flashes of Hope (www.flashesofhope.org<http://www.flashesofhope.org>), so you can get a great costume while making a contribution to fight cancer.

The following film replica costumes are available:

  * Indiana Jones - beige safari shirt (about 15.5-33), khaki trousers (33/32), real leather jacket, satchel, and bullwhip; all clothes are distressed: $100
  * Dr. Henry Jones, Sr. - white shirt (18-33), three-piece brown tweed wool suit (originally from Brooks Brothers, 46S), blue bow tie, thin belt worn over the vest, and bucket hat: $75
  * Mola Ram - black trousers with attached overskirt (elastic waist), black/red reversible drape, black wide sash, three necklaces (sadly, many of the claws on the claw necklace are broken) and rubber heart: $75
  * Grail Knight - metal chain mail leggings and coif (headpiece), quilted velveteen tunic with Brotherhood of the Cruciform Sword logo, fleece cape with logo on left side, black leather gloves with chain mail and metal plates: $100
  * Marion Ravenwood - red rayon trousers with elastic at ankles, embroidered white blouse (imported from Romania), and maroon print sash: $100 (this is the same blouse pattern as worn by Karen Allen; if you have looked for it on-line, you know what a steal this price is)
  * Willie Scott, "Anything Goes" - red and gold sequined gown with high neck, short sleeves, and cutaway back: $80
  * Willie Scott, Sacrifice - white chiffon full skirt with attached trousers underneath and silver sequined trim, matching choli (tight, cropped bodice), artificial flower garland, headpiece of white artificial flowers and chiffon veil: $75 The jewelry to go with it (three necklaces, pierced earrings, double-chain belt, tikka, and wide cuff bracelet - all silvertone, all imported from India) is also available for $60.
  * Col. Irina Spalko -- grey suiting-weight jodphurs and matching tunic with actual Soviet uniform buttons, black belt with goldtone Soviet buckle: $75

The following costumes don't appear in the films, but were inspired by the culture and traditions of the four continents where the films are set:

  * The Spirit of Africa - Egyptian beadnet sheath dress made of glass beads over a cocoa-brown lining, Egyptian beaded collar with lime green silk cape attached, goldtone metal crown with uraeus (that's the name of that snake that's on the front of Egyptian headpieces): $75
  * The Spirit of Asia - silver/purple sequined lace choli with purple satin bra top, matching trousers with a fitted yoke and legs of draped, beaded fabric: $70
  * The Spirit of Europe - grey metal-look vinyl "armor" corset with attached chiffon sleeves, blue/white layered chiffon skirt, and sweet Valkyrie helmet: $75
  * The Spirit of South America - short red skirt with "gold" accessories made of gold fabric glued to ¼" foam with jewel trim; includes belt with piece in front (fits 38" waist), circular collar, bicep bands and wristbands with chiffon drape, and large semi-circular Incan crown headpiece - this was made for a man, but add your own top and it could be worn by anyone: $70

We've also got costumes from prior years available - past themes have included Harry Potter (Harry, Ron, Golden Snitch, Gryffindor showgirl all available), Alice in Wonderland (Red Queen, Queen of Hearts, March Hare, Blue Butterfly), Star Wars (Princess Leia's medal ceremony gown, Rey's Jakku ensemble), Motown (2 different sets of three Supremes costumes), James Bond (Honey Ryder, Pussy Galore, Wei Lin) and Willy Wonka (Candy Corn, Hershey's Kiss and Starlight Mint-themed showgirls).
