CALL FOR TEACHING ARTISTS
SUMMER 2020 ARTWORKS: JUNE 29 - JULY 31

  *   The Center for Arts-Inspired Learning’s ArtWorks is an arts-based job training and college readiness program for Northeast Ohio’s 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students.
  *   Teens from Cuyahoga County Schools are enrolled to train under the guidance of master teaching artists, who mentor them in an art form while teaching them 21st century skills.
  *   The apprenticeship experience allows students to develop time management, professional communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills, which are transferable to any workplace or college.
  *   Apprentices also participate in workshops that focus on financial literacy, resume writing, financial aid applications, and interview skills.

TEACHING ARTIST AVAILABILITY + QUALIFICATIONS

  *
Center for Arts-Inspired Learning is currently seeking Professional Teaching Artists for our Summer 2020 Session.
  *
This program session is June 29- July 31, 2020 and runs Monday through Friday from 9AM – 4PM.
  *
Some evening hours maybe required, as our final showcase is Friday, July 31st from 5pm – 7pm.
  *
It is preferred artist have at least 3 years’ experience working with high school youth and demonstrates proficiency in their chosen art discipline.
  *
A background check is required.
  *
Art opportunities range from animation and game design, recording arts, filmmaking, slam poetry, fashion design, photography, theater, and visual arts.
