acts are all welcome. Performances should be family-friendly (roughly PG

performers will receive complimentary tickets to event for themselves and a

the event (stand up routine, song, etc.), no accompaniment will be
provided. For larger acts (performance troupes, choirs, bands) who are
interested, please email Rachael at SparkTheatre4Youth at gmail.com to send
work samples instead of auditioning in person.

*THE IMAGINATORS*

*The Imaginators*, by Dwayne Hartford is the story of three children and
the power of imagination. Anne and Tim have just moved to a new town and
struggle to make new friends. Through a new neighbor, the children discover
their own strengths, the value of cooperation, and the unlimited power of
their imaginations as they figure out how to defeat an imaginary monster!
The play reminds children and adults alike never to lose their sense of
play and creativity.

*AVAILABLE ROLES:*

Timothy- played as male, any ethnicity/type. Must be at least 18, to play a
child. An imaginative young boy who moves to a new town with his sister
Anne. He is prone to playing make-believe and telling stories. He’s usually
out-going but does get pushed around easily by both Nina and Anne.

Anne- played as female, any ethnicity/type. Must be at least 18, to play a
child. Tim’s older sister. She has also moved to a new town and looks
forward to meeting the popular girls in her new school. She loves to work
on her computer and get good grades. She is easily annoyed by her younger
brother, Tim, and thinks playing make-believe is a bit childish.

Nina- played as female, any ethnicity/type. Must be at least 18, to play a
child. Nina is an eccentric young girl who loves making things up. She has
a huge imagination and heart, but struggles to make friends in school. She
befriends her new neighbors, Timothy and Anne, and leads their new group,
“The Imaginators” on an epic adventure.

William- played as male, any ethnicity/type. Must be at least 18, to play a
teenager. Nina’s older brother who spends much of his time looking for his
little sister. Nina hides from him, telling her new friends he is actually
a monster in disguise. In the end, he’s a pretty normal big brother.
