[NEohioPAL] Ife-Gail Young - One Woman Show about Maggie Lena Walker

Please join me as I perform my one woman show, THIS WOMAN CAN, an original
play.  Script and music written by yours truly. The play depicts the life
and times of Maggie Lena Walker, an African American pioneer businesswoman
who is credited with being the first woman in American to found and become
president of a bank. She promoted economic empowerment to African Americans
and ran a successful benevolent agency and was president of the bank she
founded for 35 years. The bank was the oldest black owned and operated bank
in America, closing its doors in 2005. It served African- American
communities/businesses throughout the country for over 100 years. I perform
a few characters and  songs in the play. 'This Woman Can,' will appear for
one day at Larchmere Arts, 12726 Larchmere on Saturday, March 21st, at
3:00p.m. $10 donation.  Hope to see you there.
