“His uncanny genius is knowing how the actor and the play can work together like a Swiss watch.”  ~  William Mastrosimone, playwright.

“I love working with Bill in his ACTING BY MISTAKE workshops. I’ve been taking his workshops for over two years now. He gets us to ‘connect’ with the character in an organic way. He helps us allay the normal fears we have as actors, and our need to get it ‘right’, by creating a playful process in which we focus more on the character’s experience than getting the exact words of the text correct in the rehearsal process. That is so freeing. I’m feeling much more confident now in how I approach a character, and trust that organic process of developing a character.”   ~ John Sannuto, Chair, Theatre Department, Long Island University.

“Bill is not a “one size fits all “acting teacher.  Though he works with some fundamental principles, he regards every student as a complex individual and actively learns how to speak to each one using precise language that particular person will comprehend. The result is a swift, profound deepening of his students’ practice. His dedication and love for the art of acting is total. He places very serious demands for those in his classes with great respect and kindness. I’ve never had a teacher like him!   ~ Eric Diamond, NYC dancer/actor.
