“Attention all Fairytale Things!”

Mighty Goliath Productions is happy to announce our auditions for our 2021
production of Shrek the Musical!

MGP is an open and affirming community experience. We are an independent
501(c)(3) non-profit fundraising organization that benefits the performing
arts of Avon Lake City Schools. Auditions are not required for anyone
wishing to participate as part of the ensemble; however, in light of
COVID-19, we are requiring pre-registration for participation in the
ensemble and for all people auditioning. If you would like to be a part of
the show, please register at https://forms.gle/ySZoQPudh6nA7pch9 by October
22, 2020. If you’re interested in being a featured dancer in the ensemble,
please send an email to auditions at mightygoliath.com in addition to
registering by September 15, 2020. ALL ROLES ARE AVAILABLE

WHAT TO PREPARE: For safety reasons, we are asking that auditions be
recorded and submitted to the email listed below. Auditions should consist
of 16-32 bars of a musical theatre piece and a short story told as a
fairytale. Please sing along to an accompaniment or track. No a Capella
please.

WHEN: Please submit your audition video by September 15, 2020 by 11:59pm to
auditions at mightygoliath.com.

CALLBACKS: By invitation only will be determined based on actor
availability. In order to maintain social distancing, these will be very
limited with staggered call times. If you are needed at callbacks, more
information will be provided.

SHOW SPECIFICS: It is the director's goal to engage a diverse cast in this
family friendly classic. All races, creeds, gender identities, sexual
orientations, ages, and body types are encouraged to audition and will be
considered for all roles when casting.

PERFORMANCES: February 12, 13, 14, 19, and 20, 2021 at the Avon Lake High
School PAC*

REHEARSALS: Due to the COVID-19, rehearsals will be a mix of virtual and
small, in-person sessions. Safety of our members is our top priority, so we
are asking for flexibility and understanding to any changes that may occur
as we listen and adhere to local and state guidelines regarding COVID-19.

SAFETY PROTOCOL:

   Masks must be worn at all in-person situations

   Temperatures will be taken upon entering all in-person situations
   -

   Additional measures may be added in accordance with local and state
   guidelines
