With social media, you have the power to produce your own videos to develop
your comedic voice, showcase your acting to casting directors and reps, or
become an independent creator. Whether you’re creating for YouTube,
Instagram, or TikTok, it’s easier than ever to take on the roles of
producer, writer, and editor - all in one! But knowing where to start can
sometimes be overwhelming.

Over this 6 week course, I will take you through practical steps to write,
shoot, and edit a comedy video that showcases your talents, gives your
confidence a boost, and jumpstarts your online comedy portfolio.

This course is for anyone who wants to write, create, and star in their own
content - no prior experience necessary! All you need is a smartphone, a
tripod, and basic editing software such as iMovie. (There are other free
programs you can find online). You will get a crash course in comedic
structure, work your idea out in a virtual writers room, and get writing,
performance, and editing feedback from the instructor.

At the end of six weeks, you will come out with a polished video you can
proudly upload into the virtual world, and the power to continue making
quality videos on your own.

BIO
Michael Busch spent 15 years in LA working in comedy as an actor, writer,
and producer. He has produced and written digital content with millions of
views for places such as FunnyorDie, CollegeHumor, Comedy Central,
AwesomenessTV, and Defy Media.
