This coming Thursday, 25th Feb, Scottish jazz vocalist, Carol Leslie, will perform with her trio at the Bop Stop at The Music Settlement, 7pm - 8.15pm, via a livestream event on Facebook. This is a FREE event, but of course donations are always welcomed to support this non-profit’s mission to provide music therapy for children, and to support musicians during the Pandemic. It can take a minute or two for the video to appear once you click - just enough time to pour a sip or two to sit back and relax, as you anticipate the weekend! Jazz, contemporary, pop, there’ll be something for everyone in Carol’s repertoire. Many of you have seen Carol perform at the Bop Stop, the legendary Night Town restaurant, or the Music Box, and she is sure to please accompanied by Ed Ridley on keys, Jeffrey Slater on bass, and Ricky Exton on drums - all three are educators, and part of the mainstay of the local jazz scene in NE Ohio.
