Cleveland Public Theatre is hiring two full-time administrative positions.

CPT is hiring a Business Manager. This role requires leadership and initiative, is part of a team-driven staff, and reports to the CFO/General Manager. The role is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of CPT's financial operations as well as working with the CFO/GM on a range of financial management and human resource initiatives. Financial responsibilities include management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank accounts, other assets, and liabilities such as staff credit cards. This role is responsible for Human Resources records. This role consists of routine tasks, project-based assignments, and problem-solving situations that need to be balanced. CPT has a history of training theatre professionals in finance skills who have shown excellence and attention to detail in other fields of theatre. Theatre professionals with theatre experience but limited financial management experience should feel welcome to apply, as well as financial management professionals across all industries. CPT is hiring an Assistant General Manager. This role requires flexibility, initiative, and curiosity about how things work and reports to the CFO/General Manager (GM). The role is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the CFO/GM and includes project-based assignments and problem-solving situations that reflect the GM's portfolio of responsibilities. As a result, assignments may include facilities issues, I.T. management issues, procurement issues, vendor management and assessment, product, services, and software research, event logistics, office management, and more. As an operational role, this position will interact and provide support to all staff members and should have a strong "customer service" attitude. Candidates should be excited about solving problems with limited direction, self-teaching new skills, conducting research, quickly communicating the results, and recommending courses of action. Constant re-prioritizing is a key skill. Possible candidates see themselves as a "pinch-hitter" who is comfortable shifting between departments, roles, and issues.
