[NEohioPAL] Musical Theatre Master Class

The Youngstown Playhouse is offering a MUSICAL THEATRE MASTER CLASS with Kayla Boye on Saturday, March 20th from 10:30AM - 12PM EST. Classes are for adults and youth ages 12+ and the cost $15. 

In this virtual master class, participants will learn a musical theatre dance combination followed by a discussion of best practices to build confidence in audition and performance technique.

A Zoom link will be sent following registration. Registration closes on March 19 at 11:59pm.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Kayla Boye is a professional actor/choreographer. She has been previously seen at The Playhouse in Mary Poppins, Chicago, and Curtains. Chicago credits include: The Wizard of Oz (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), South Pacific (Drury Lane Theatre), Can-Can, Billy Elliot, Little Me (Porchlight Music Theatre), Pippin, Mary Poppins (Mercury Theater Chicago), Anything Goes, Gypsy, and Mame (Music Theater Works, formerly Light Opera Works). Regional credits include: Guys & Dolls, A Christmas Story (Fireside Theatre), On the Town (Capital City Theatre), and seasons with Bigfork Summer Playhouse and The Huron Playhouse. 

Choreography credits include Wonder Women: The Musical (Winner of Best Choreography, Chicago Musical Theatre Festival), Damn Yankees, Bye Bye Birdie (Wilmette Center for the Arts), Mary Poppins, and Legally Blonde (Youngstown Playhouse). Assistant choreography credits include Billy Elliot (Porchlight Music Theatre), Gypsy (Music Theater Works), Carousel, Bye Bye Birdie, and The Drowsy Chaperone (Huron Playhouse).
