[NEohioPAL] VIRTUAL Drama Classes for All Ages and Abilities!

The Center for Applied Drama and Autism's Spring Session classes are now
available for registration. We are offering advanced classes for long-term
students seeking the next level in their theatre education, in addition to
new areas of interest! *$125 for 10 weeks of classes, April 10-June 12,
2021.*


*INTRO TO COMEDY*
*Mondays, 6:00-7:00 PM ET*
Make 'em laugh in this course, beginning with the basics of comedy and
ending in the creation of a collaborative sketch. Learn about characters,
stories, and jokes (obviously)!
*Taught by John Lynch and Brandon Meeker*

*STAND-UP COMEDY*
*Mondays, 6:30-7:30 PM ET*
Have you always wanted to try stand-up comedy but didn't know where to
start? Look no further! In this class, we'll teach you how to develop
material that will win over any audience.
*Taught by Jordan Euell and Ruben Ryan *

*INTRO TO IMPROV*
*Tuesdays, 6:00-7:00 PM ET*
Learn the fundamentals of improv, an art form popularized by comedians like
Bill Murray and Tina Fey, that can teach social skills.
*Taught by Ruben Ryan and Brandon Meeker*

*YOUTUBE PRODUCTION*
*Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 PM ET*
Learn how to write, produce, and perform your own work! Students will
create a show and air it on YouTube.
*Taught by Jordan Euell and Eve Urban*

*VOICE ACTING: GETTING TO KNOW YOUR VOICE*
*Thursdays, 7:00-8:00 PM ET*
Explore techniques used in Theater, Film, Radio, Voiceover, and more. Ten
weeks full of exercises and games that will help the actor become more
comfortable with speaking in performance and in everyday life.
*Taught by Shannon Uphold and Mikaia Al Barr*

*MUSICAL THEATRE*
*Thursdays, 7:00-8:00 PM ET*
Explore musical theatre styles through dance and character work. Get ready
to move!
*Taught by Hallie Heffernan and Wendy Duke*

*PUPPET PALOOZA*
*Saturdays, 11:00 AM-12:00 PM ET*
Learn the basics of acting and storytelling through puppetry.
*Taught by Eve Urban and Bree Chambers*

*IMPROV (LEVEL 2)*
*Saturdays, 11:00 AM-12:00 PM ET*
Delve deeper into improvisation: explore scene work, performing
spontaneously, as well as new structures and games. Must have taken Intro
to Improv or equivalent class.
*Taught by Ruben Ryan and Brandon Meeker*
