Sandstone Summer Theatre of Amherst, Ohio has several summer theatre opportunities available!

BROADWAY CAMP

Does your kiddo love to sing? Do you have a 10-year-old who cannot stop dancing? If so, the Sandstone Broadway Camp is perfect for you! In one week, your child will learn theatre basics, form amazing friendships, and feel empowered to pursue a life-long passion for the arts.

Open to students entering 2nd grade to those entering 9th. Two sessions are available, beginning June 7th and June 14th. $80 per student.

CHILDREN'S THEATRE - INTO THE WOODS JR.

This year, we are performing Into the Woods Jr. outdoors at the Vermillion Reservation Amphitheater July 23rd, 24th, and 25th. Rehearsals will begin June 21st and be held every week day from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. COVID-19 protocols will be strictly enforced including social distancing and proper mask wearing. Into the Woods Jr. is for students just completing 5th grade to those who just completed 8th grade. $150 per student.

ADULT THEATRE - GODSPELL

Auditions for Godspell will be held April 30th and May 1st, with callbacks on May 2nd, at Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst, Ohio.  No cost to participate.  All rehearsals (beginning June 1st, 6:00-9:00 pm) will be conducted at Amherst Junior High School and will strictly follow all COVID-19 protocols. Godspell will be performed July 9th, 10th, 11th, 16th, 17th, and 18th outdoors at the Vermillion Reservation Amphitheater.   No cost to participate, but you must be in 9th grade or any age that is older to participate.
