Workshop
July 12 - 24

Aurora Community Theatre will hold a Children’s Summer Workshop from July
12 through 24 for youngsters entering grades three through nine in the Fall
of 2021.

The two-week, daylong theatre experience will culminate in a full
production of Disney’s *MADAGASCAR Jr. A Musical Adventure* complete with
costumes, props, lighting, sound, and plenty of fun.

ACT’s Children’s Summer Workshop offers youngsters the opportunity to learn
all facets of staging a performance, including rehearsals, props, costumes,
makeup, singing, and dancing. ACT believes that involvement in our
Workshops will help instill a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts.

Each participant will receive a copy of the Madagascar Jr. script and a
rehearsal-music link, plus commemorative t-shirt and performance video
link.

Last summer, the workshops provided a roadmap for conducting a fun,
meaningful experience while adhering to health and safety guidelines
outlined by the State of Ohio.

This summer, the theatre remains committed to offering quality programming
in a secure environment that will protect the health of all participants
while supporting their growth in performance ability and confidence.

Parents are welcome, and encouraged to be involved in this experience. More
information about parent volunteer opportunities will come with Workshop
Confirmation Materials.
