Hello,

The Simulation Center at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine is looking
for actors of all ages, experience and demographics (18 and over) to
portray patients for Medical Education Learners.

You can help train the next generation of Doctors! We will train you to
portray a patient so students* can practice interviewing, physical exam and
professionalism. Our Standardized Patients (SPs) are employed as
Independent Contractors and work according to their individual availability
and interest (work as little or as much as you’d like). Most programs are
held in person Monday through Friday between 8 am and 5 pm. SPs are
recruited about 4-6 weeks in advance and trained before the beginning of
the program. Programs are a minimum of 2 hours long (most are longer and
may run over several days) plus 2 hours of training (SPs are reimbursed at
$20 an hour for both the training and program).

If you are interested you can find more information at our website (click
here for site)
<https://case.edu/medicine/cscsimcenter/simulation-resources/standardized-patients>
or by reaching out via email. Those who would like to apply can fill out
the SP Application

 and
return it to me at hmg29 at case.edu.

Programs are held year-round and new SPs are auditioned and onboarded
continually.

Thank you for your time,

 Howard

Assistant program, Nursing School and Dental School, as well as some
