New This Year: Free Acting Classes for Fall Play Actors

While there are many young artists who study voice and dance, very few
study acting. Though students spend years perfecting their singing and
dancing, acting is usually just seen as something "picked up along the
way." This lack of formal training sets these young performers back,
particularly when it comes to college auditions at competitive schools.

To help our young men and women grow as complete artists, the cast of this
year's fall play will receive *3 hours of free acting classes per week* as
part of the rehearsal process. Students will be introduced to techniques
developed by Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, Sandy Meisner, Lee Strasberg, and
more.

Any questions?

Please do not hesitate to email me at dhoover at ignatius.edu.

We hope you (or your daughter/friend) are able to join us!
