Beck Center for the Arts’ Youth Theater is accepting resumes for Music Directors for its 2022 production of Disney’s High School Musical. This is a paid position (flat fee per production).

The production is directed Patrick Ciamacco and will perform in the Senney Theater at Beck Center for the Arts from March-18, 2014. Age range of student actors will encompass from 12 – 19.

It is desired that the Musical Director will accompany most rehearsals and all performances as well as teaching the music to the cast.  Musical Director will also be responsible for assembling available orchestra.

DISNEY’S HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL
Production Information:
Auditions: Saturday, January 29 (2:00-6:00pm) & Sunday, January 30 (12:30-3:30pm), 2022
Callbacks: Monday, January 31 (5:00-9:00pm), 2022

Potential Rehearsal Times: February 6 – March 12, 2022
Weeknights: between 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Saturdays: between 2:30pm – 6:30pm
Sundays: between 12:30pm – 5:00pm
(As we run into all the varying needs and conflicts throughout the time period for this rehearsal process, we may need to start earlier or run later so we can accommodate schedules. However, with the Music Director position, we are open to options that do not require the MD be at every rehearsal. If you have capabilities to make rehearsal tracks, that is a bonus.  Again, the above times are currently wide ranges to discern best availability.)
Tech Week:  March 13 – 17, 2021
Sunday from 1:00pm – 9:00pm and Weekdays 5:00pm - 9:00pm

Production Dates:
Fridays, March 18 & 25, 2022 at 7:30 p.m.
Saturdays, March 19 & 26, 2022 at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, March 20 & 27, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.
Student Matinee: March 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. (will require missing school/work)
