Sips and Scripts is an offering of the Kent Trumbull Campus. "SnS" promotes
local playwrights by doing staged readings in a relaxed atmosphere.

Truth and Power will have its first reading this Wednesday. (2/9). Modern

"Truth from Power" focuses of the 40-year relationship of crisis hotline
coordinator (a "hippie holdout") and one of her crisis workers; a straight
laced, initially closeted, and shut down young man. The relationship breaks
apart due to both needing to speak their truth at different points. Do we
value hearing the truth? And a truth teller? Can a truth teller destroy
him/herself?
