Looking for a summer project?? 

We are once again auditioning street cast for the 2022 season at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire. Join the cast and crew in recreating our 11th century medieval village of Avoloch. Play one of the unforgettable characters who walks our shire streets and performs for our guests.  It promises to be a year to remember!

Please prepare a 1-2 minute audition presentation for us.  This can be a monologue, a song, or a special skill.  Show us what you can do!

Rehearsals will start mid-May and be on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Exact dates and times will depend on the size of cast and number of in-house shows. You will be trained in street performance, character development, improv, dialect, stage combat basics, costuming, and MORE. 

Performances are July 9th-August 21st (Saturdays and Sundays approx. 9am-8pm daily). Note: this is a voluntary position -- if you are interested in working in a paid capacity, please visit medievalfaire.com and complete a job application. In order to be cast in a show, you need to be available for ALL performance dates. We are happy to accommodate street cast with conflicts or limited availability (i.e. only Saturdays), you will just not be in a show.
