BROADWAY COMES TO HUDSON HIGH SCHOOL



Hudson High School will sizzle this spring with their production of CHICAGO
(Teen Edition) that tells the infamous story of Broadway’s favorite
sinners! This classic jazz age musical follows the lives of Roxie Hart and
Velma Kelly through vaudeville inspired numbers including “All That Jazz”,
“The Cell Block Tango”, and “Razzle Dazzle.” Experience these classic
numbers like never before with the ONSTAGE orchestra!

The show will feature seniors Darby Wilson as Velma Kelly, Kathryn Palmieri
as Matron "Mama" Morton, Carl Rössler as Billy Flynn, Megan Archer as Liz,
Katie Heckroth as June, Emma Archer as Hunyak and Reggie Shaffer as Fred
Casley. Juniors Kate Pawlowski as Roxie Hart, Lindsey Tima as Annie, Elyse
Tremmel as Mona and Anthony Yuhos as The Reporter. Sophomores Lindsey Ross
as Mary Sunshine, Jason Dement as Amos Hart, Madison Davidson as “Go to
Hell” Kitty, and Joshua Jacob as Fogarty. Accompanied by our Female and
Male Ensemble which includes seniors Megan Masink, Davy DeLambo, and
Christian Tong, juniors Allie Brockway and Anthony Yuhos, sophomores Maria
Wright, and Jason Tong and freshman Iliana Jones, Italia Kolar, Lillian
Hockstra, and Adeline Pelletier.

CHICAGO (Teen Edition)​ is directed by Kent State University’s Department
of Theatre and Dance Faculty, Bob Russell and musically directed by Jacob
Moore, Sound Mentor is Carlton Guc of Off-Axis Sound with assistance from
junior Sound Lead, Maria Landess; Lighting Mentor is Hoover High School
Drama Director Bruce Nist Jr. with assistance from Lighting Lead and Board
Op Hayden Bourett; Costume Mentor is University of Mount Union’s Professor
of Costume Design Sarah Russell with assistance from Wardrobe Lead
sophomore Sam Farabee alongside assistant wardrobe leads senior Elliot
Aszkler and junior Jacqueline Kloss. The wardrobe crew includes senior Ella
Benore and freshman Lilly Scafe; Property Lead is junior Sophie Kheder
accompanied by the Properties Run Crew that includes juniors Charlotte
Courtney, Casey Nalley and Emily Doane; the Sound/Run Crew consists of
sophomore Eve Lynne Bruening, and freshmen Luke Ream. Choreography will be
led by University Theatre faculty member, Katie Gibson, with assistance
from dance captains junior Allie Brockway, and sophomore Maria Wright; the
Production Stage Manager is senior Abby Doane and Assistant Stage Manager
is senior Mia Censoprano.

Performances are  Friday, April 8th, April 9th at 7pm and Sunday april 10th
at 2pm at Hudson High School Memorial Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now
and can be purchased online at www.showtix4u.com and search “Hudson” or at
the door before performances.
