*CLEVELAND DANCE PROJECT CELEBRATES FIVE YEARS IN NORTHEAST OHIO WITH AN
ANNIVERSARY GALA*
Cleveland, Ohio April 22 – Cleveland Dance Project is celebrating its fifth
anniversary with a ticketed gala on Friday, July 22 nd at Woodside Event
Center in Broadview Heights. In its five years, Cleveland Dance Project has
brought together over 300 dancers and presented over 100 choreographers,
showcasing this talent and artistry across 9 major concerts. Beyond these
flagship performances, the organization enhances its offerings through
weekly classes and smaller event performances across the region. The gala
offers a retrospective look at performances through the years and
celebrates what Is to come for the organization.
Tickets include a buffet dinner, 5 hours of open bar, and dancing. The
evening will also include a wine pull, raffles, and a new work by CDP
Company. CDP Company is the 501c3 sponsor of the gala. All gala proceeds
will go towards both CDP Company and Cleveland Dance Project’s combined
mission of emphasizing the importance of movement for mental and physical
health, as well as sharing dance and performance with the community to
spark joy and thoughtful engagement on human experiences. This includes
creating community outreach programs, bringing in industry professionals
for classes, covering performance costs, and building out a joint studio
space.
The Cleveland Dance Project is the largest all-adult dance group in the
greater
Cleveland/Akron area, aiming to provide dancers (18+) the opportunity to
train,
choreograph, and perform in a fun, yet professional environment, while
making art
relatable through dance.
