Scholarship Opportunity for local high school students

The Sixth Annual Shining Star CLE 2022<https://www.menorahpark.org/donate/shining-star-cle/overview> is a wonderful opportunity for 10 high school students to sing on the stage of the prestigious Mimi Ohio Theatre at Playhouse Square in a competition for a $10,000 college scholarship.

Students can upload an audition video on our secure website<https://shiningstarcle.submittable.com/submit> by June 30, 2022. There is no fee to enter. All genres of music are welcome.

Save the date - Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 7pm - The Finals Performance & Competition

Over $18,000 in scholarships will be available for high school students with 2023-2026 graduation dates from Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit and Wayne counties! And a bonus to the high school music department of the first-place winner.

Last year's winner, Calista Zajac from Magnificat High School was also a third and fourth place winner in previous years and she received a total of $13,500 in college scholarships!
